Review by hotel critic
As a wildlife conservationist from Nairobi, culinary exploration is a delightful part of my travels. Last year's experience at Labranda Allantur left me enamored, and I was keen to return for another gourmet adventure. This year's culinary offerings did not quite match the previous ecstasy. The Sunset Restaurant, perched on the pier, offered striking views of Alanya's historical skyline but fell short on variety. Last year's seafood night featured lavish delights like crayfish and lobsters, leaving us savoring every moment. This time, however, the limitations were evident, as we were served an uninspired paella with frozen seafood. While I appreciated the cleanliness and attentiveness of the staff, the consistency of food options felt stagnant. The atmosphere lacked the beach party vibe we relished last year. Instead of diverse culinary encounters, the dining experience felt like a missed opportunity. For food enthusiasts seeking something fresh, Labranda might require a rethink to rekindle the culinary spark.
